Founder, Esher Nutrition & WellnessCNS® Candidate | Supervised Nutrition Practitioner
Dr. Lillian Smith is a bilingual nutrition scientist with a PhD in Food Science and a strong background in nutritional biochemistry. She is a Certified Nutrition Specialist® (CNS®) candidate completing her required Supervised Practice Experience (SPE) under the guidance of a board-approved mentor.
As the founder of Esher Nutrition & Wellness, Dr. Smith provides non-prescriptive, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle support through a virtual care model. Her practice serves individuals and families across all life stages, with a focus on metabolic health, digestion, hormonal balance, and long-term wellness.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Smith provides culturally responsive care to diverse communities. Her approach is grounded in science, guided by faith, and aligned with the scope of supervised nutrition care, She empowers clients to address root causes, nourish their bodies, and cultivate lasting vitality from the inside out.
Esher Nutrition & Wellness offers non-licensed nutrition care under the supervision of a board-certified CNS® as part of the CNS® certification pathway.

Chef David Smith brings over twelve years of culinary leadership to Esher™ Nutrition & Wellness, shaped by classical training at Le Cordon Bleu and informed by a growing body of academic work in the emerging field of culinary therapeutics. Currently pursuing a Master of Professional Studies in Culinary Therapeutics from the Culinary Institute of America, he bridges the gap between fine dining and functional wellness, creating meals that are both restorative and refined.
At Esher™ Chef Smith leads the culinary division with a focus on excellence, integrity, and intentionality. Each personalized menu is crafted in collaboration with our clinical care team to support a range of needs, including cardiometabolic health, digestive disorders, hormone balance, anti-inflammatory protocols, and plant-forward performance nutrition. Whether teaching a private cooking class or preparing therapeutic meals, he designs every experience to nourish both body and spirit.
Prior to joining Esher™, Chef Smith directed professional kitchens and bespoke catering operations, known for technical precision, thoughtful presentation, and a calm, guest-centered approach. Now a core member of the Esher™ team, he brings not only culinary mastery but also a deep respect for the role of food in healing and hospitality.
